BALLS (ดินมวลเบา) มีคุณสมบัติเป็นรูพรุนและมีน้ำหนักเบา ผลิตมาจากดินเหนียวที่เผาด้วยอุณหภูมิสูงถึง 1000 องศา

What is Balls?
Special kiln-fired Clay Pebble Grow Rocks, lightweight aggregate that is super-heated and formed into pebbles 8-16 mm in size. 
The ceramic shell and inner pore structure retains moisture and releases it back to your plant’s roots as needed. Grow rocks will not compact, ensuring excellent aeration for the life of your plant. It is reusable and lasts indefinitely, making it a great value. Grow rocks are excellent in hydroponic systems.

It is made of clay with high water storage properties and balanced capillary action to accelerate plant growth.

BALLS ®as a decoration top layer - It is most convenient as a top layer for pots and plant containers. The moisture is kept in the soil in a better way. This saves you frequent waterings. The red colour of the pebbles offers a Mediteranean touch in your living spaces.

BALLS ®for drainage and water reservoir - It can be applicated with soil as a drainage layer at the bottom of the pots. The surplus of moisture is then retained and given back to the plant when needed. The plants roots are not directly in contact with water, protecting them from rot.

BALLS® mixed with soil - It aerates the soil, helps to keep the moisture and accelerates the growth of the roots thanks to a better gas exchange. The soil structure is lighter, it is frost resistant and can be used in heavy soils outdoor.

BALLS® for Hydroculture - Thanks to its high water storage capacity, its neutral PH and its lightweight. It is the ideal substrate for hydroculture systems. The red pebbles have large pores offering a balanced capillary action.

Derived from a renewable and plentiful source (clay), BALLS® is considered an ecologically sustainable growing medium. The clay is formed into pellets and fired in rotary kilns at 1200°C. This causes the clay to expand, like popcorn, and become porous.

BALLS® hydroponic growing media is light in weight, does not compact and is completely reusable - it can be cleaned and sterilized after use. They are also inert, pH neutral and do not contain any nutrients. The pellets drain freely and do not hold any excessive water, which is why they provide good oxygen levels around the root and why they are particularly suitable for flood and drain systems.

In drip irrigation systems the pellets can be mixed with a medium with better capillary action so the feed is dissipated broadly through to prevent salt build-up.

BALLS® hydroponic growing media is a substitute for normal plant-soil and is mainly used in hydroculture/ hydroponic systems as well as for decoration. Available in TWO sizes.
